Private Golf Clubs in Scottsdale get ready for 2019

I am truly excited for what the New Year has to bring to the Scottsdale golf club. 2019 will mark the completion of the Scottsdale golf club phase II enhancements that everyone is closely watching in person and online.  On that front, construction continues to trend on time and on budget with the pool in the process of being excavated.   I would expect the construction with the pool itself to take roughly 4 weeks, meaning we will begin on the surrounding pool deck in early February.  For those interested in tracking the progress, take a look at the live streaming camera which shows considerable changes on a daily basis.  This webcam can be found on the private side of our Scottsdale golf club website at www.ccdcranch.com.  In Club operations news, mid January marks the start to our busiest time of the year with a number of fun events for your enjoyment planned.  .  Each Private Golf Clubs in Scottsdale equity golf member will receive ballots to vote for the open positions for the Board at the beginning of the month.  These ballots are due back to the Club or sent via mail on or before January 21st. The results of the vote for the two open Board positions will be announced at the Scottsdale golf club Annual Meeting. 

My monthly reminder, as we enter a very busy new year at Private Golf Clubs in Scottsdale, please remember to make a dining reservation, especially during our dinner service.  As you have read in previous newsletters, making a reservation greatly enhances the level of service that we are able to provide, which we believe is paramount to a successful Club experience.  This will also be true once we open The Ranch House as part of the phase II enhancements in late April.  There are a number of ways that you can make reservations at Private Golf Clubs in Scottsdale; from Open Table on your smartphones and computers to calling the Concierge or Dining Hosts to make reservations.  We will continue to closely manage the reservation process at the Club which will only help you and your fellow members in having a great dining experience.

Lastly, on behalf of the Scottsdale golf club staff, please accept my sincere thanks and gratitude for your generous contributions to the annual Employee Appreciation Fund.  As a result, your total contribution to the fund was nearly $200,000 with 99% of Private Golf Clubs in Scottsdale Country Club Members participating!  As you likely already know, every employee of the Club (with the exception of myself) receives a portion of this fund – calculated by dividing the total amount of funds available, after taxes, by the total number of months collectively served by the Club’s employees. The support from the Private Golf Clubs in Scottsdale membership to our staff is so wonderful to see and I thank you for that!  Please trust me when I say that your giving made a huge difference to many of our employees during this holiday season.  The buzz in and around DC Ranch continues to be very positive with so many engaged and friendly members and staff and for that I am very grateful.
