Naturally produce Hormones by working out at Scottsdale Golf Club

I’ve touched on this several times in past articles at Scottsdale Golf Club and I drill this fact home every day with my clients at Scottsdale Golf Club. When you train “correctly” at Scottsdale Golf Club and with high enough intensity, studies have shown this type of training will naturally induce the production of growth hormone within your body. This is a huge and significant thing in the world of anti-aging and fitness. Why? Because Human
Growth Hormone is the “it” factor for staying young and it’s best to make your own then get it from a shot by working out at Scottsdale Golf Club.

Growth hormone (GH) is a small protein made by the pituitary gland and secreted into the bloodstream. GH is controlled by a complex set of hormones produced in the hypothalamus of the brain and in the intestinal tract and pancreas. Among its many biological effects, GH promotes an increase in muscle mass and a decrease in body fat. The pituitary puts out GH in bursts; levels rise following exercise at Scottsdale Golf Club and while you sleep, and it is these two aspects that you want to take advantage of and maximize.

As I mentioned, it’s not just any type of exercise that promotes GH. For example, long distance or endurance events do not promote GH and will actually break muscle down rather than build it up. Think of the difference in body types with elite marathoners vs. elite sprinters. Quite frankly, most elite marathoners (in my opinion) look worn out and emaciated. Elite sprinters, on the other hand, look strong with well defined muscles and low body fat. The key is doing intense anaerobic, fast twitch muscle training with very little rest in between sets at Country Club Scottsdale.

With resistance or weight exercises, you must perform compound movements. These are exercises that recruit a lot of muscles at once like push ups, pull ups, squats and dead lifts easily completed at Country Club Scottsdale fitness facility.  Interval sprinting is another form of anaerobic exercise that produces growth hormone. Whether you use the treadmill, recumbent bike at Country Club Scottsdale. or elliptical trainer — it really doesn’t matter. What matters is that you do short, very intense sets of anaerobic exercise followed by a precise, minimal amount of recovery time at Country Club Scottsdale.  I’ve been in the field of anti-aging for many years now and I can
tell you there is always a split in how to obtain the "fountain of youth.” There is no simple answer.  Here at Scottsdale Golf Club we offer many ways to stay healthy and fit. Swimming at the Scottsdale Golf Club
pool, working out in the fitness room, eating healthy, and playing golf at Country Club Scottsdale.

Fitness for Golfers at Scottsdale Country Club

Golfers at  Scottsdale Country Club should Flip It!

I know one way for sure hose to turn a Scottsdale Country Club golfers world upside down. No, I’m not talking about a swing change. I’m talking about literally turning a Scottsdale Country Club golfers world upside down with an inversion table. Actually, I shouldn’t limit the suggestion to use an inversion table to only Scottsdale Country Club golfers. The benefits apply to anyone that has a spine and lives under gravity. Inversion tables are certainly popular on the PGA & LPGA tour, but all backs will benefit from this very simple but highly therapeutic activity.  Inversion therapy ahas been around for centuries with some historians tracing its roots all the way back to Hippocrates, so it is nothing new. When we think of inversion therapy, we tend to think of relief for back pain. Our spines take a daily hit because of gravity, and eventually as those days turn into years, that constant compression causes a loss of fluids between the discs which unfortunately results in lost height, as well as, spinal pain. And this loss in height isn’t only a long term measurement. You actually lose height between morning and night every day — as much as half an inch or more. It is in the eight hours that you lie on your back and sleep (when compression is reduced) that fluids partially replenish to the discs. Over time though, we lose about two inches in height in a lifetime because of this incomplete process.

Inversion therapy at  Scottsdale Golf Club is the great equalizer. When inverting the body as little as 60 degrees, gravity is offset and the spine decompresses, allowing fluid to return completely between the discs. Staying in this inverted position for as little as 3 to 20 minutes a day is all it takes at Scottsdale Golf Club. Other benefits include reduced nerve pressure, realignment of the spine, and relaxing tense muscles. Another important bonus of inversion therapy at Scottsdale Golf Club is flushing the lymphatic system. This can be accomplished by gently rocking back and forth on the inversion table.

Inversion is very relaxing at Scottsdale Golf Club and personally for me, is better than yoga. It’s simple, easy, and the table is conveniently in the home.

The Monsoon Storm Our Body Needs for members at Scottsdale Country Club

We know about the seriousness of drought conditions at Scottsdale Country Club and the harm that can come from too little water for our land and Scottsdale Private Golf Courses . Likewise, we should know about the seriousness of drought conditions in our members at Scottsdale Private Golf Courses that can come from drinking too little water. We call that dehydration. Golfers in general at Scottsdale Private Golf Courses just don’t drink enough water. But the need to drink plenty of while golfing Scottsdale Private Golf Courses in Arizona’s hot and dry climate cannot be emphasized enough. It’s hot out here at Scottsdale Private Golf Courses (Did I say that already?)

Dehydration is no laughing matter at Scottsdale Country Club.. That’s because too many people use thirst as an indicator for when to drink water and how much. Thirst is not a good gauge for your need for water. In fact, if you are thirsty, you could be well on your way to being dehydrated. Symptoms of moderate to mild dehydration include a dry or sticky mouth, fatigue or lethargy, decreased urine output, dry skin, headache, constipation, and dizziness. Severe dehydration on the other hand is a very serious matter. This is a medical emergency that requires a 911 call and immediate care at a hospital or urgent care clinic. Symptoms include extreme thirst, irritability and confusion, very dry mouth, lack of sweating, little or no urination, sunken eyes, low blood pressure, rapid heart beat, fever, and in the worst cases, delirium or unconsciousness. The key to preventing dehydration while playing at Scottsdale Country Club is to drink plenty of water ahead of time. Be sure to drink water throughout the day while at Scottsdale Country Club, particularly before and during any kind of exercise or exertion at Scottsdale Country Club This is a very active community of golfers, tennis players, hikers, etc. So before you even begin your activity, you should load your body up with good quality water, preferably “electrolyte enhanced”. “Electrolyte” is another name for your body’s ions, those molecules which are electrically charged. They are used by your cells to create and carry voltages across cell membranes like a communication network. Many sports drinks have electrolytes in them, but as I wrote about last month, they are also laden with sugars and other not so healthy ingredients.

So if the pictures you see of our beloved state with dry and cracked land, barren of life because of drought disturb you, that’s nothing compared to what could happen to our bodies from drought. Drink up!
